Location: Falmouth, UK
Role: Design Lead, Student
Deliverables: Book Publication, Virtual Exhibition
Challenge
Transit spaces are built for movement, not memory. Airports, stations, and waiting zones often feel impersonal, yet they quietly hold traces of human presence. The challenge was to uncover and communicate those overlooked moments of emotion, texture, and memory.
Approach
Through fieldwork, photography, and material experiments, I translated subtle details from these “non-places” into a visual language of blur, texture, and imperfection. The work culminated in TwentySix Non-Places, a self-published book, and Unseen, an exhibition that invited audiences to pause, reflect, and notice the unseen.
