Challenge
Transit spaces are built for movement, not memory. Airports, stations, and waiting zones often feel impersonal, yet they quietly hold traces of human presence. The challenge was to uncover and communicate those overlooked moments of emotion, texture, and memory.
Approach
Using fieldwork, photography, and material experimentation, subtle details from these so-called “non-places” were translated into a visual language defined by blur, texture, and imperfection. The project culminated in TwentySix Non-Places, a self-published book, and Unseen, a virtual exhibition designed to encourage audiences to slow down, reflect, and notice what is usually ignored.
